Calegie Zand is a jewelry brand with Persian roots, primarily focused on wedding rings. The cypress is a central symbol in Persian art, often used to represent life, eternity, spirituality, and resilience. In this interpretation, I chose to depict the cypress in a way that harmonizes with the patterns and stylizations found in art from the Sassanian era. This stylization emphasizes its historical connection and symbolic significance within Persian cultural heritage.
To connect the symbol to love, I introduced rings into the brand mark. The trunk is framed by the rings, symbolically “locking” love in place. The wordmark is kept classic and sophisticated, using a distinctive typeface. Together, the brand mark and wordmark form a logotype that captures the essence of Calegie Zand and creates a timeless, sophisticated, and unique expression.
This project is a conceptual logo design created to explore a potential visual direction.
